A Plug for Google Reader

I have a very tech savy husband that tried to convert me to Google Reader a long time ago. I resisted, I scoffed, I saw no need to change my ways, until... I joined the blogging community. Google Reader is a huge time saver. I made an account, subscribed to the many blogs I follow, and now I can simply login to Google Reader to see what's new!

It's wonderful! Thanks tech-savy-husband, this time YOU were right! ;)

Check it out here.

But only this one time right? That he is right? So don't let it go to his head right? Cuz you'll never hear the end of it right? :o)

If ever I am wrong........which I never am....I tell my man to take record because it is a first....each time I am wrong.......which never happens. :o)

I love google reader as well! But now my new favorite is the tool that lets you subscribe to those feeds- you can even import them from reader and then you just have to click on your blog to see what's new. Gotta love technology!!!

Wait... Russ converted you to Google Reader?!? Doesn't he know about the RSS integration in Apple's Mail app? Oh Russ... such a misguided fellow. ;) Actually, I used Google Reader for quite a while, but then they blocked access to it from work. I guess I shouldn't have been reading RSS feeds from work anyway. :)

Did you know you can do the same thing right on your blog? It is super handy!

Russ used the RSS integration with Apple Mail for a time, but still prefers Google Reader. He does use the Apple Mail app for his email and has unsuccessfully tried to convert me to that as well. (Could it be those stubborn Thomson genes again?! ) I only use it when I have to, like when I want to send messages with other Apple applications.

Reg uses it and loves it, but too many of my friends are private. I can't believe they don't fix that. There has to be a trick!

I wish I could subscribe to the private blogs as well, let me know if you figure out how to do it.
